A proper handover protects both you and the provider. Use this checklist for smooth drop-offs and collections.
Drop-off checklist
- Take dated photos of all sides of the vehicle
- Document any existing damage with close-up photos
- Note the mileage and fuel level
- Remove all valuables and personal items
- Ensure the vehicle is locked and secured
- Test that access codes work before leaving
- Confirm the provider has your contact details
Collection checklist
- Inspect the vehicle thoroughly before driving away
- Compare against your drop-off photos
- Check tyre pressures and fluid levels
- Test all lights and indicators
- Report any concerns immediately through the app
Report issues promptly
Any concerns about vehicle condition must be reported within 24 hours of collection to be covered by our protection policy.
