Changing your booking dates
Learn how to extend, shorten, or modify the dates of your existing storage booking.
Life changes, and so can your storage needs. Barn & Bay makes it simple to adjust your booking dates when required.
Extending your booking
To extend your storage period, navigate to your booking in the dashboard and select 'Extend booking'. Choose your new end date and confirm the additional payment.
Extensions are usually processed instantly, subject to space availability with your provider.
Shortening your booking
If you need to end your booking early, you'll need to provide at least 7 days' notice. Any prepaid amounts for unused time will be credited to your account.

Open your booking
Go to Dashboard > My Bookings and select the booking you wish to modify.

Select 'Modify dates'
Click the modify button and choose 'End booking early'.

Choose your end date
Select the new end date, ensuring it's at least 7 days from today.

Confirm changes
Review the refund amount and confirm. Your credit will appear within 5-7 working days.

Can I change my start date?
If your booking hasn't started yet, contact the provider directly to request a date change.
What if the provider can't extend my stay?
