Vehicle insurance is required for all stored vehicles on Barn & Bay.
Minimum requirements
- Valid motor insurance covering storage
- Third-party liability as minimum
- Comprehensive recommended for full protection
- Policy must remain active throughout storage period
SORN vehicles
You can store SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification) vehicles. Standard motor insurance isn't required, but we recommend comprehensive cover or specialist laid-up insurance.
Tip
Inform your insurer that your vehicle is in storage. Some offer reduced rates for stored vehicles.
